The Dog Show

These are Labradoodles. Yup. Apparently they are cousins born four days apart, I got a brief seminar on coat color and genetics while we were standing in line waiting to be CERF'd but I forgot to take notes so I've forgotten ALL of it... bummer...

Giant Schnauzer. Went second in group and was lovely!! I've seen a gazillion black ones but never this color - I knew they existed and now have proof!!

Karelian Bear Dog... Don't know much about them but they're cute!!

Had a super day overall... Nice weather, nice people and nice dogs. Picked up a few things that I am convinced I can't live without so I'm a happy camper. Oooh, oooh camping!! That would be fun too but it'll have to wait til da babies are a bit older... Ciao!!!

July 1, 2010 - Sunset Lake with Tom

This tiny schroom was just begging to have his pictue taken!! So little and was almost trampled by the dogs while I was trying to move my equipment around and set up the shot...

This tree root was huge and was smack dab in the middle of a creek (or as my Dad would have said, "A crick")

An old dock... obviously... but no cabin or road or sizeable trail nearby, just an outhouse. Yup, Tom even opened the door to check it out and said there was nothing afoul... hahaha... I know, I know, ...boo..... I groaned out loud at that one (just for you) and now Pirate is looking at me like I have a screw loose... THANKS!! Now my dog thinks I'm an idiot...

The gear. When a fisher dude is near a lake it calls to him and he must fish... Yep, no matter what the weather or the likelihood of success....

Tom fishing at the shore's edge - snagged a rock and lost a lure - a few fish jumped to tease him, but none took the bait... Kind of blustery weather and was only four degrees on this first day of July, 2010...
